To open a new account, simply download our app from the App Store or Google Play Store and follow these steps:

1. Tap Continue with Email*

2. Verify your email address

3. Use a strong password to keep your account secure

4. Agree to the Terms & Conditions

5. Verify your mobile number

6. Scan your ID or passport

7. Complete the NFC verification

8. Take a selfie to verify your identity

9. Upload proof of address

10. Answer the KYC questions

*The UAE Pass registration option is also available for a quicker onboarding process.

You could upload your documents directly through the app by taking a photo or using a saved image or file already saved in your phone.

To complete your ID verification, you will need to scan the selected document (Emirates ID or Passport) directly in the app. Your ID should completely fit the frame shown on the screen. You will also need to verify your ID using facial verification directly in the app as well.

There are no fees for opening an xCube account.

Your account information is available in the profile section of the app. To access your profile, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your xCube account.
  2. Tap the three dots in the bottom right corner.
  3. Choose the profile option.

 

To reset your password:

  1. Log in to your xCube account.
  2. Click on Forgot Password.
  3. Provide the verification code sent to your email address.
  4. Provide the verification code sent to your mobile number.
  5. Create your new password.

You can also update your password directly from your profile section once you’re logged in to your account.

To update your email address:

1. Choose the Recover your email option in the login screen.
2. Verify your identity.
3. Provide your new email address.
4. Verify your email address.
5. Add your new password.

To update your mobile number:


1. Tap the three dots on the bottom right corner.
2. Tap on profile.
3. Tap on phone number.
4. Enter the new mobile number.
5. Enter the verification code you received on your mobile device.
6. Confirm the code and you’re all set!

Your account could be inactive for multiple reasons. In case you can’t access your account, please contact our support team by sending an email to support@xcube.ae or calling 600 592823.

It could take our team up to 2 working days to verify any new documents. You will be updated via email once your documents are processed or if any additional information must be provided.

You can request to close your account in the app by sending an email to support@xCube.ae from the email you registered with, and we will contact you for validation.

Your account statement and portfolio can be viewed in the app under the Portfolio/Statement page. If you need custom date ranges, please send your request to support@xCube.ae and we will contact you for further details.

To update your notification settings:

1. Tap the three dots on the bottom right corner.
2. Press notification preferences.
3. Open settings.
4. Adjust the notification settings.

Buying Power represents the total amount of cash or margin which can be used for trading securities.

Withdrawable Cash is the total amount of cash available for withdrawal.

To deposit funds in your account using bank transfer:

1. Tap the Account tab in the bottom of the screen.
2. Choose Deposit
3. Choose Bank Transfer.
4. Copy xCube’s account details.
5. Use these details to transfer the required amount and don’t’ forget to add your customer ID in your bank transfer remarks section.
6. Once transfer is complete click on ‘Submit Request’ to share with us the transferred amount.


To deposit funds in your account using online banking:
1. Tap the Account tab in the bottom of the main screen.
2. Choose Deposit.
3. Choose Online Banking.
4. Choose the amount you wish to deposit.
5. Choose your bank from the list of banks displayed on the screen.
6. Log into your online banking account and complete the transaction.

To deposit funds in your account using Credit Card:
1. Tap the Account tab in the bottom of the main screen.
2. Tap Deposit.
3. Tap Credit Card.
4. Choose the amount you wish to deposit.
5. Complete your credit card details.
6. Verify the card details and complete the transaction.

*All payments made by credit card will incur a transaction fee of 2.95%

With the iVESTOR Card, you can receive any due dividends directly onto your card faster than ever before. You can also make instant cash withdrawals from any VISA/PLUS marked ATMs, top up your card balance, and make purchases from millions of retail outlets accepting VISA worldwide.

To withdraw funds from your account using iVestor:


1. Tap the wallet tab on the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap Withdraw.
3. Tap iVestor.
4. Choose the amount you wish to deposit; the amount cannot exceed the withdrawal cash amount showing on your screen.
5. Confirm your selection.
6. The amount will be instantly processed and deposited onto your iVestor Card.

To withdraw funds from your account to your bank account:


1. Tap the account tab in the bottom of the screen.
2. Choose Withdraw.
3. Choose Bank Account.
4. Add your bank details.
5. Choose the amount you wish to withdraw; the amount cannot exceed the withdrawal cash amount showing on your screen.
6. Withdrawal will be processed within 1 to 3 working days.

The time it takes for your transfer to be approved is dependent on how long your bank takes to process transactions. 

This will highly depend on your chosen method for withdrawal:

iVestor: Instant or up to 24 hours.

Bank Account: Depends on how long your bank will take to process your transaction. 

xCube does not charge any fees for deposits. Additional fees may apply based on your method of deposit.

Bank Transfer: This will depend on your bank; international transfers fees are usually high.

A Margin Level is the percentage of Net Asset Value (NAV) from total value of holdings.

Example: if your NAV is AED 5,000 and the current total value of your holdings is AED 8,000 the Margin Level is 62.5% (5,000/8,000).

A Margin Call is a notification to deposit more money in your trading account, or close some or all your positions, in order to bring your account back to satisfactory standing.
Please refer to the margin call and margin call level in the portfolio section.

A Stop Out Level is when your margin level falls below a specific percentage (25%) in which one or all of your open positions are closed automatically (“liquidated”). This liquidation happens because the trading account can no longer support the size of the current open positions.

Yes, margin interest fees are applicable when using margin financing based on Margin utilized and daily interest fees.

Available margin is the remaining amount of margin that a customer can use to trade while the margin used is the amount borrowed to open current positions. Interest fees will be charged based on the Margin Used.

Each security has its own margin ability. In simple terms, if the margin ability on Emaar stock is 50% and the client wants to buy a value of 300,000 AED, the client must have at least 150,000 AED in available cash to execute the order.50% of the 300,000 AED, can be provided as margin.

Margin ability varies per security but is always limited to a maximum of 50%. When some securities are 50% marginable, others might be 0%, or 25%.

You can request shares based on the available withdrawable cash reflected in your wallet.

IPO shares are not guaranteed. xCube will process your subscription request but has no control over the final share allocation.

The investment banks handling the IPO issue on behalf of the issuer decide the allocation of the IPO.

The final number of shares you received are reflected immediately in your portfolio on the allocation date. You will receive a refund for unallocated shares.

Fees for IPO Subscription are usually determined by the investment bank handling the IPO.

To place an order:

  1. Choose what you would like to trade.
  2. Click on trade button.
  3. Select buy or sell.
  4. Choose the order type.
  5. Fill in the required details.
  6. Confirm your order.

 

You can't modify an existing order. Instead of a modification, you can cancel the order and re-enter a new order.

To cancel an order:

1. Tap the portfolio tab in the bottom of the screen.
2. Choose open orders.
3. Enter on the order to be canceled.
4. Choose cancel order.

A market order is an order to immediately buy or sell a security at the market’s best available price. This type of order typically ensures an execution, but does not guarantee an execution price. It is important to note that the last price of the security is not necessarily the price at which the market order will be executed. Additionally, xCube will limit your buying power to 95% of your available buying power to account for any deviation in the price execution.

A limit order means you are buying or selling a security with a specific maximum or minimum price: the limit price.  A buy limit order can only be executed at the limit price or lower.  A sell limit order can only be executed at the limit price or higher.  

To calculate the commission fees, you could use the commission calculator available in the pricing section on our website. Additionally, you could log in to the app, tap the three dots on the bottom right corner and choose brokerage fees.
